Bernie is a talented mixed media artist and acclaimed workshop instructor, but her 16,000 followers on Twitter know her best for her tireless work in rescuing dogs and cats and providing food, shelter, and medical care until she can find new homes for them. Bernie is nearing the end of a 5-year project to create a larger shelter, and her most important resolution for 2010 is to once again make time for her art and, as she explains, for herself.
